ACADEMY CEO INTRODUCTION:
Luxury Sales Advisor will be an individual who has started their career in luxury retail already and is looking to build experience and credibility. Your passion, craftmanship and professionality must be obvious and clear to shine through. This role is in some of the largest cruise ships in truly inspiring luxury boutiques, and therefore your clientling skills must be truly impeccable.

Step 1 - The Job Role

Cruise Retail Academy, working with one of the world's leading cruise lines, is seeking Luxury Sales Advisors to embark on an extraordinary career journey. This isn't just about showcasing exquisite fine jewelry and Swiss timepieces; it's about crafting lasting memories for travelers seeking the extraordinary.
As a Luxury Sales Advisor Advisor, you will be the trusted confidant and primary point of contact for guests looking to acquire or invest in precious pieces. You'll serve as a knowledgeable guide, showcasing unique and exclusive collections, featuring one-of-a-kind limited-edition treasures and rotating special collections presenting the finest curation of brands at sea.
This exceptional role calls for someone with:
A strong presence and the ability to cultivate trust and rapport with a sophisticated clientele.
A natural talent for hosting engaging client interactions, events, and presentations.
Deep-seated knowledge and passion for fine jewelry and Swiss timepieces, including brands, product specifications, stones, metals, and design aesthetics.
Proven experience in one-to-one clienteling and a dedication to providing world-class customer service.
A proactive and results-oriented approach to achieving and exceeding sales targets.
As a Luxury Sales Advisor, you will:
Serve as a dedicated consultant, guiding guests through exceptional collections of fine jewelry and Swiss timepieces.
Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients, understanding their individual needs and preferences.
Present and showcase exquisite pieces with confidence and expertise, highlighting their unique features and craftsmanship.
Host and participate in exclusive events and presentations, creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the luxury jewelry and timepiece market.
Collaborate effectively with the onboard management and fellow team members to achieve collective sales goals.
Maintain a sophisticated and professional demeanor at all times, embodying the high standards of our partner cruise retailer.
Based onboard one of their many cruise ships and reporting directly to the Asisstant Luxury Manager, this is more than just a job – it's an opportunity to immerse yourself in a dynamic and rewarding environment, surrounded by the elegance of the same of the most stunning luxury boutiques at sea, with a number of monobrand stores and unique at sea concepts.

Step 2 - Requirements
Before you start an amazing adventure on the oceans as a Luxury Sales Advisor and growing your career, it is important to know that getting onboard a cruise ship for the first time is a little bit complicated. As such, you need to be fully prepared for the steps you will need to take before you can start working.
It can take 3-6 months to get onboard, and for those candidates who use us to find a job onboard, we will help, guide and support you all the way until you embark safely.
Before you step onto the gangway and into your first cruise ship you will need to go through 6 main stages to get there, which we will guide you through as part of your application process with us. Once we have assigned you to a specific client, we will guide you through more accurate costs expectations, as this depends per each operator uniquely.
Application (this part)
Interview and Assessment (with us first, then with client afterwards)
Medical (between $300 - 600)
C1/D Visa Application (typically around $180 - reimbursed onboard)
Pre-employment HR certification including:
Police clearance certificate
STCW training (between $75 basic - $800 comprehensive)
HR paperwork
Travel arrangements (cost depends on operator)
