ACADEMY CEO INTRODUCTION:
This role will be leading the retail teams on some of the most prestigious cruise ships in the world. Guests who have paid $10,000 fo their cruise will need to be wowed by your team - do you have the skill and experience to bring this to life from the moment you step onboard? How You'll Create Great Guest Experiences:
Leading your management team in leading a team of luxury retail professionals and specialists to create a memorable and best-in-industry guest experience and amazing entertainment.
Collaborating with cruise line partners and onboard teams to create top quality, luxury events.
Managing onboard inventories and operational processes efficiently to ensure that stock availability, integrity and accuracy is optimised onboard to give guests the best possible opportunity to buy.
Ensuring that luxury retail standards and monobrand spaces are exceptionally delivered at all times onboard.
What Experience We're Seeking:
Honest, hardworking, and down-to-earth individuals looking to enhance their careers and inspire others.
Strong experience working as a Luxury Retail Manager on land, at sea, or even on the moon... If you can lead, motivate and inspire a team of luxury retailers, you're already ahead.
What You Can Expect:
Access to the Cruise Retail Academy and comprehensive brand training.

Customized in-house training covering sales, product knowledge, and brand expertise.
Contract-based role, with opportunities to work and live at sea for up to 6 months at a time, with breaks between contracts.
Assistance with necessary visas and seafaring documents to work at sea.

Step 2 - Requirements
Before you start an amazing adventure on the oceans and growing your career, it is important to know that getting onboard a cruise ship for the first time is a little bit complicated. As such, you need to be fully prepared for the steps you will need to take before you can start working.
It can take 3-6 months to get onboard, and for those candidates who use us to find a job onboard, we will help, guide and support you all the way until you embark safely.
Before you step onto the gangway and into your first cruise ship you will need to go through 6 main stages to get there, which we will guide you through as part of your application process with us.
Application (this part)
Interview and Assessment (with us first, then with client afterwards)
Medical (between $300 - 600)
C1/D Visa Application (typically around $180 - reimbursed onboard)
Pre-employment HR certification including:
Police clearance certificate
STCW training (between $100 basic - $800 comprehensive)
HR paperwork
Travel arrangements (cost depends on operator)
