Step 1 - The Job Role
We are searching for Fine Jewelry Specialists to join onboard luxury retail teams on board multiple major cruise lines!
Be the go-to for:
Luxury Sales — As an onboard sales expert, you will be responsible for introducing a variety of high-end luxury brands to cruise ship guests and work hard to close sales. You have a hunger and passion for successful sales (and have previous metrics to prove this success!) And of course, you will help your guests commemorate their life’s most important moments by shopping for their dream pieces!
Storytelling/Communication — As the guest’s typical first point of contact in the onboard luxury retail stores on board, you will have an outgoing, enthusiastic personality matched with clear communication skills to introduce them to a world of luxury and help them find the piece they are looking for. White-glove, personable service is a must and you have mastered the art of hospitality required for showing high-value diamonds, gemstones, and watches to clients.
Collaboration — Onboard Sales Associates, Specialists and Management work together to close sales and achieve company targets. You will have a sterling reputation for working well with others in a large team setting and know how to utilize everyone’s strengths to make sure every guest has a satisfactory experience while in our stores.
Qualifications:
Successful sales experience in the luxury retail sector required (high value gemstone sales experience highly preferred)
Current/former cruise ship crew members highly preferred
Fluency in English required, any additional spoken languages are a bonus!
Soft skills: confidence, credibility, approachability
Why we love this opportunity:
Competitive base pay + excellent commission potential
Opportunity to travel the world and form relationships with crew members and guests from numerous different countries - expand your mind while also expanding your bank account!
